Conocimos en Santiago de Compostela.  

Después de que Ourense y otras ciudades gallegas abrieran sus fronteras en 

marzo, pude viajar a Santiago de Compostela, la capital de Galicia. Allí tenía 

una cita programada para perforarme las orejas. Xiana, una artista del tatuaje 

en ciernes, me perforó la oreja izquierda y derecha en menos de un minuto.

 Mientras esperaba para irme, me mostró su Instagram lleno de su arte y cómo 

esperaba mejorar su inglés mientras trabajaba en un lugar tan popular.

We met in Santiago de Compostela.

After Ourense and other Galician cities opened their borders in March, 

I was able to travel to Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia.  

There I had an appointment scheduled to get my ears pierced.  Xiana, 

a budding tattoo artist, pierced my left and right ear in less than 

a minute.  While I waited to go, she showed me her instagram filled 

with her art and how she hoped to improve her English while 

working in such a popular location.
