Who am I?

Hola a todxs! Me llamo Ayana y soy de Chicago.  Estoy aquí para enseñar ingles a alumnos en una escuela secundaria en Ourense!  En mi tiempo libre, hice un proyecto llamado "La Gente de Galicia." Con este proyecto, viajé por Galicia haciendo entrevistas cortitas con los ciudadanos que conocí.  Además, tomé fotos de la gente haciendo lo que aman! A través de las historias de sus vidas y las fotos, aprendí más de la cultura gallega.

Espero que disfrutes es proyecto tanto como yo!

Hello everyone! My name is Ayana and I'm from Chicago. I am here to teach English to high school students in Ourense! In my free time, I did a project called "The People of Galicia."  With this project, I traveled around Galicia doing short interviews with the citizens I met. I also took pictures of them doing what they love.  Through the stories of their lives, I learned so much more about Galician culture.

In my blog, I will share their photos, smiles, stories, and little audio snippets of their words.  I hope you enjoy this project as much as I did!
