La Pareja de Las Islas Cies ⼁The Couple from Las Islas Cies

Mientras un amigo y yo nos detuvimos a disfrutar de las vistas de Las Islas Cies, me detuve para ayudar a esta pareja a tomarse una foto juntos. Después de hacer acopio de valor para pedir una entrevista y una foto, la maravillosa mujer, con la ayuda de su marido, relató una historia increíblemente extensa y completa de Vigo y su relación con el mar. A través de esta pareja conocí la historia de Vigo en relación con el mar y las culturas vecinas. Me encantó la conversación con ellos por el orgullo que tenían por Vigo. Me dijo que el mejor pescado está aquí por la relación de Vigo con el mar vecino.

While a friend and I stopped to enjoy the views of Las Islas Cies, I stopped to help this couple take a picture together.  After working up the courage to ask for an interview and a picture, the wonderful woman, with the help of her husband, gave an incredibly extensive and thorough history of Vigo and its relationship to the sea.  Through this couple, I learned about the history of Vigo in relation to the sea and neighboring cultures.  I loved my conversation with them because of the pride they held for Vigo.  She told me the best fish is here because of Vigo’s relationship with the neighboring sea.
